RUSTY TUCKER

HEAD COACH | HITTING | DEFENSE | RECRUITING

Rusty is the owner of Legends Baseball. He and his wife have three daughters 13, 11, and 7, in the world of softball. Rusty is switching over to coaching softball and bringing his high level of expertise into the greatest sport in America.  

Rusty played nine years of Professional Baseball with five different organizations. As a relief pitcher, he has accumulated over 100 career saves. Rusty attended Major League Spring Training Camp for 3 years with the San Diego Padres and the Chicago White Sox. He served as a pitching coach at the professional level for one year.

His outstanding pitching talent was recognized during his high school career where he played at Gloucester High from 1994-1998. He was named the Northeast Conference MVP 1998 and Boston Globe All-Scholastic Team 1998.  Following High School he attended the University Of Maine from 1998-2001 and played two summers in the Cape Cod Summer League for the Chatham A's from 1999-2000. He was named America East Conference Pitcher of the Year 2001 and later drafted in the 21st round by the San Diego Padres.

Rusty has lived all over the country moving back to New England in 2011. It was then he started working with Legends Baseball and discovered his love for teaching the game and helping players develop. Over the past 10 years he has coached players who have gone on to compete at the highest levels of the game.  Rusty takes great pride in sharing his knowledge, experience and passion to everyone he works with.
