Kristen Trupiano serves as the Head Softball Coach at Gordon College, an NCAA Division III institution in Wenham, Massachusetts.

A former collegiate softball player and Gordon College alumna, Trupiano brings experience and perspective from both sides of the college recruiting process.

As a college head coach, Trupiano understands what coaches look for in prospective student-athletes, both on and off the field. She is passionate about helping young athletes navigate the recruiting process with confidence, understand the differences between collegiate programs, and identify schools that align with their athletic, academic, and personal goals.

Trupiano's coaching philosophy centers on developing the complete student-athlete, emphasizing character, servanthood, accountability, work ethic, and leadership alongside athletic development.

“One thing I always emphasize to my players is that they can control two things: their attitude, and their effort.”

When recruiting, Trupiano looks for athleticism, high softball IQ and most importantly a selfless player who picks up her teammates and goes all out. Attitude always trumps skill. Positivity, encouragement and selflessness creates a family culture and leads to greater success.

Trupiano looks forward to educating and mentoring athletes and their families throughout the recruiting journey, providing guidance on communicating with college coaches, understanding recruiting timelines, and positioning themselves for opportunities to continue their softball careers.
